Thank you for an unforgettable choir experience

Great enthusiasm, standing ovations and many heartfelt moments marked the 18th International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf, which ended successfully on 30 May. For participants, visitors, guests and the team, the exciting and musically very high quality competition left an unforgettable experience. The international get-together and above all the personal encounter within the framework of virtuoso choral music thus seamlessly continued the festivals of the pre-Corona era and clearly showed the power and energy of the community when singing in a choir.

We would therefore like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part and thus made the Whitsun days in the Allgäu an unforgettable choral experience. We are already looking forward to the next International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf, which will take place from 6 to 10 June 2025. Save the Date!

Planning for Musica Sacra International is already underway

Parallel to the International Chamber Choir Competition, planning for Musica Sacra International is already underway. High-calibre music from the great world religions and other cultures will be presented by the festival High-calibre music from the great world religions and other cultures will be presented by the festival over Whitsun from 17 to 21 May 2024 in Marktoberdorf and the entire Allgäu region. Through music, the encounter festival would like to make an important contribution to getting to know and understanding other cultures and religions, especially in this day and age.
